Hey guys, Evan here…
Now is time for friends and family to gather around the table and enjoy a delicious meal and even better company. Many enjoy a festive turkey, while others a succulent ham. With that said, many will take the back seat to carving… but it is really quite simple. I have put together a quick video on how to carve up your turkey and how to carve a ham for the holiday season to make you look like the star of the show.
Take a look and enjoy…
Very easy to follow and well done videos for carving a turkey and a ham. Thank you.

Hi Evan,
Thank you for the 2 videos. You make it look so easy .
I have been a customer of Village Grocer since you were in Markham, just off Main St.
thank you for talking about the different knives.
2 questions –
How do you remove the netting from the ham?
And how do you clean the wooden board?
Thank you for all your hard work.
Hi Joan,
The Ham is not in a netting, the roast turkey rolls are. When there is a netting, cook the meat in the netting and then remove when slicing.
As for cleaning the wooden board, gently scrub your board with a sponge and hot, soapy water (we recommend using a mild unscented dish soap). It’s important to wash both sides of the board (even if you chopped on only one side) to prevent it from drying unevenly, which could cause the board to warp.
